P2P is currently looking for an experienced e-commerce technical Project Manager to join our team to Design, build, lead and develop our platform. We are primarily considering Magento Commerce to successfully implement, Develop and customize e-commerce leveraging Magento’s or related platform's robust capabilities. As well as follow a product development roadmap with advanced technology integration and adoptions.
Job Function:
In partnership with cross-functional teams, lead all elements of the project lifecycle and apply project methodology using critical thinking and leadership for e-commerce software and application centric projects using agile methodologies.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Design and Manage the entire engineering project lifecycle from defining business objectives and project plan tasks to managing successful execution and deployment. Developing a technological financial view of the project in terms of budget adoptability and most importantly duration.
• Ensure all project objectives and strategic approaches are defined and documented.
• Ensure that each technical project budget is planned and executed efficiently, spent, and tracked appropriately and effectively throughout the Sprint plans.
• Build lead and manage Technical and QA teams to schedule production releases and ensure that appropriate business requirements are satisfactorily tested before deployment.
• Consulting with internal stakeholder’s best practices and processes for delivering and maintaining solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans to monitor and track progress for external and internal stakeholders. Coordinate and conduct design reviews (design documents, diagrams and UI/UX) and fit-gap analysis.
• Build project dependencies, resource allocation across projects and critical success factors. Ensure deliverables are on track and deadlines are met while communicating project risks and risk mitigation plans.
• Serve as business partner and point of contact between multiple internal and external teams. Lead cross-department and cross-brand communications bring efficiency to the organization and bringing the right project members and stakeholders together at the right time. Facilitate meetings, workshops and collaboration sessions and push execution and alignment on organizational initiatives.
• Identify and quickly resolve project roadblocks, managing risks and issues related to projects. Maintain issues logs and decision logs and manage to closed status. Balance business needs with project risks, resource availability and platform restrictions.
• Organize and lead user acceptance testing and drive bug/fix resolution.
• Track project performance, metrics and post project deliverables for future process enhancements.
What You Need for This Position:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Working Knowledge of Project Management Tools including but not limited to: Agile trackers, Scrum, Zendesk, and Jira.
• Solid understanding of Ecommerce applications, Magento/Spree or related products, Server side application, DBMS build structure and integration methodologies, and best practices.
• Three to five years of project management experience preferably with Ecommerce Frontend and Backend Products, Magento/Spree or other similar application deployment and integrations.
• Experience working with Jira and the Atlassian suite.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
• Advanced Knowledge of retail industry, Wholesale, POS, ERP, Order Fulfillment software's or cloud based application.
• 3+ years’ experience managing ecommerce or online businesses technology development projects * Experience with Web Platforms and Frameworks including not limited to (Magento, Demandware, Shopify Plus, Shopware, CRM etc).
• Vast working web development knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON. Advanced understanding and working experience of PHP, Python, Ajax, JQuery, Java, Swift and JavaScript. framework knowledge like React, Angular etc.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, building and managing bi-weekly Sprint plans, manage scope of work, assessing resources, budgeting, risk management, scheduling and estimating.
• Proven track record of managing multiple successful projects.
• Prior experience managing timelines and budgets.
• PMI PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience and skills working with developing internal tech team for software development and integrations.
• Skilled in strategic thinking, business and technical planning, particularly as it applies to software development.
